Blur a PNG

adjustable radius · batch · keeps transparency · nothing uploaded

Apply a smooth Gaussian blur to an image — pick how strong, drop your files, and download. It runs entirely in your browser, so nothing is uploaded, and transparency is preserved. Good for soft backgrounds, privacy blurring, or a frosted-glass effect behind text.

    Picking a radius

    A note on privacy blurring

A blur can make faces or text unreadable at a glance, but a light blur can sometimes be partially reversed. If you're hiding something sensitive for real, use a strong radius — or better, fully cover it with the Pixelate tool or a solid block. For genuinely irreversible redaction, paint over the area completely.

    FAQ

How do I blur an image online?

Drop it above, set the blur radius, and click Blur — the softened image appears with a Download link. All processing is in your browser; nothing uploads.

Does it blur the whole image or just part?

The whole image. To blur or hide only a region, use Pixelate, which lets you select an area.

    Is transparency preserved?

Yes — the output is a PNG and any transparent areas stay transparent (their edges soften along with everything else).
